SEAS Website Celebrates 10 Years of Operation
“It is our goal to develop the website into a useful tool for communication and growth for the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and Ministries.”
This month we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our parish website, www.seasdunkirkny.org. The initial website was launched on Wednesday 3/4/09 at 5:00 P.M. giving St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church a presence on the World Wide Web.
Although the first website was very basic at it’s beginning it has developed since that time into a full featured website offering Mass times, Contact information, a downloadable digital Weekly Bulletin with online archive of past bulletins and much more.
The website has evolved as a place to come and learn more about the Catholic faith and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. During the year of faith, a News/Blog was started and on December 23, 2011 the first posting featured From the Pastor. Did you know you can be notified automatically of new News/Blog posts by email? Click on the News/Blog tab in the Menu bar and enter your email address in the bottom space under (Subscribe to Blog via Email) to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.
The SEAS Event Calendar is a listing of events in calendar form that can be accessed through the website by clicking on the Calendar link.
Stewardship has been made easier with the addition of the featured Give+Church online giving opportunity through Give+Church. Anyone can give to the weekly parish collection or other offered Giving Opportunities through the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton website with your Smart phone using the Give+Church App.
We have also added a Lent 2019 page featuring the Lenten Schedule and many Spiritual Opportunities available by clicking on the Lent 2019 Tab in the menu bar.
If you haven’t had chance to check it out please do so and add it to your Favorites. Make us a part of your web surfing day.
