SEAS Parish Year End News
Note from the Pastor
We have just celebrated Christmas and are about to begin a new year. I thank all who worked so hard in the weeks and days leading up to Christmas. In particular; three groups stand out:
- Those who planned, decorated, sang, participated, cleaned or in any way gave your best for the celebration of Christ’s Birth. Your dedicated work shows!
- Those who organized, assembled, sorted, wrapped and distributed so many groceries and gifts for the Christmas Basket Project. You did an amazing job again this year.
- Those who work week after week to staff the Parish Food Pantry.
In the name of the parish you fulfill the command of Christ. “Love one another as I have loved you.” Together you make us all proud. Thank you and God bless you.
-Fr. Dennis

Yours in Christ – Fr. Walter and Fr. Dennis
Job Well Done! (Christmas Basket Project)
We congratulate the team that organized and worked the annual Christmas Basket Project last weekend. This tradition began more than 35 years ago in connection with the parish youth organization. This Christmas, 133 families (433 persons) were helped with food and gifts. The project depends on donations from our parish, the community, and other local churches as well as several businesses. It is most heartening to witness the cooperation of dozens of volunteers, especially youth from our local schools and SUNY/ Fredonia who sort, carry, organize, wrap and even deliver gifts when necessary. We are especially grateful to long time project organizers, including Carol Smith and Peter Notaro. Thank You to all who made a donation, large or small. Your gifts have helped to bring a sign of God’s love in Christ to many families.
