Taize Prayer
Taize prayer services will be held each Sunday evening during lent at 6:30p.m. Beginning on Sunday, March 6th and continuing through Sunday, April 10th. Taize prayer blends song, silence, and scripture into a meditative experience. Each service lasts about 40 minutes. All are welcome, from any parish as well as any Christian denomination. So feel free to bring a friend.
Volunteers Needed
The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Food Closet is desperately in need of volunteers to help with this important parish ministry. Hands are needed to distribute the food on Wednesdays from 3 to 7 p.m., and on three Tuesdays a month, to unload the supply truck from Feedmore WNY at 3 p.m. at Northern Chautauqua Catholic School. Training and supervision will be provided. This does not have to be a full-time commitment. Those who can only come for the first few hours on Wednesday are still gratefully appreciated.
For additional information, please leave a message at 716 679-9055 and your call will be returned.

Do You Remember Fr. Gregory?
Father Gregory Paul, C.P. served the people of St. Mary’s Parish in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. Born in 1928, he was ordained to the priesthood in the Passionist order in 1958. Following nearly 64 years of priesthood, Father Gregory died peacefully on Dec. 30, 2021. We thank God for the blessing of his service to God and to us. Please remember him in your prayers.
