Administrator’s Corner
We move along this Easter season as we celebrate the Fifth Sunday of Easter. The Theme is “Jesus is the vine we are the branches”. It should be clear that our spiritual well-being depends entirely upon our relationship with the Lord Jesus. Just as branches cannot live except by being joined to the vine, so cannot live spiritually without union with Jesus. He is Lord. As we grow in His love, so our lives become more fruitful in producing good results.
The month of May is upon us. Hopefully, we can enjoy some good spring weather. It is the month devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary. We also celebrate Mother’s Day on May 13th. The Blessed Virgin Mary is not only the Mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but also our Mother. We do well to express devotion to Mary as this leads to a closer walk with the Lord Jesus.
There are also many wonderful celebrations during this month. There is First Holy Communion Day. Then we have the celebration of Confirmation toward the end of the month. Also there will be a Healing Mass on May 31st at Holy Trinity Church here in Dunkirk. I will be the main celebrate. A great month is May for many wonderful celebrations.
