Christmas Food Basket Collection This Weekend
In your packet this week you will find an envelope marked “Christmas Baskets for the Needy.” This special collection, taken each year before Thanksgiving, provides food baskets etc. at the Christmas holidays based of the needs of individual families. Your donation next weekend will be much appreciated.
Note from the Pastor
A few weeks ago I briefly mentioned that we incurred major unanticipated costs related to the roofing project. I am most grateful to those families who responded by sending in special donations to help offset these costs. Thus far 12 these families have given a total of $ 3,700.00.
Note that the full cost of the additional work came to $19,673.54 including new roof drains by Casale Plumbing for $2,630.00 and the replacement of a rotten roof beam, deck boards and new trim by Cope Builders for $14,413.54. We need your help! Any assistance that you can afford will be most appreciated and is really needed. Thank You. -Fr Dennis

Men’s Conference
On Saturday, November 16th, Fr. Peter Santandreu will speak here on “Hope for the Future”. Given the turbulent times buffeting the church and the uncertainty, cynicism and strife so widespread in our world, Fr. Peter’s topic is most appropriate. The conference will be held at Northern Chautauqua Catholic School. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The talks start at 9 a.m. and will conclude with lunch at noon. The cost is $5.00. To pre-register, call Frank Valone at 366-5299.
