Administrator’s Corner
We continue to celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Today we celebrate the Third Sunday of Easter. It is the season of Alleluia! Alleluia!
The Scriptures today are emphatic that the Lord Jesus truly rose from the dead. St. Peter proclaims the cure of the cripple by the power of Jesus’ Resurrection. Jesus eats some fish to show that He really rose and is alive.
The Gospel says: Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day. Repentance, for the remission of sins, would be preached in His Name to all nations. Beginning in Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.
I am now in my second week here as your temporary administrator. I like what St. Peter says to Jesus in the Transfiguration scene: Lord,” it is so good to be here.” I would echo that statement of St. Peter that it is so good to be here with all of you. I greatly enjoy serving God’s People at St. Elizabeth.
Thank you for welcoming me here. God bless all of you. Please continue to pray for Father Dennis Riter and his swift return.

Anyone who may be interested in knowing our faith or becoming a Roman Catholic may call the rectory 366-1750. We already have two potential candidates. One need not be committed to becoming a Catholic. Initially the season will be based on information and inquiring into the faith. God Bless Fr. Richard Di Giulio
