SEAS Parish News
From the Pastor
Last week as work began in preparation for roof replacement over the back portions of the church (side handicapped entrance, side chapel, sacristy, and connector to the rectory), we discovered that a concealed wooden beam between the rectory and church is very rotted due to years of water infiltration. The job of replacing the beam was given to Cope Builders of Dunkirk. Casella Plumbing is relocating roof drains. Asbestos roof flashing had to be removed and then a new membrane roof will be installed by Farrell Roofing. Hopefully when you read this, most of the work will be completed.
As work progresses, please pardon our dust. Remember that these are expensive repairs; we need you contributions more than ever. Thank you for your cooperation!
