SEAS Parish News
Thank you!
The celebration for the 44th anniversary of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish was a wonderful evening shared with heritage food and the gift of one other. I was deeply touched by being recognized for my 62 years of ordination which was on June 30th and for the 25 years as priest in residence at the parish. As always, I thank God and all of you for your love and continued prayers. I’m sure it is your prayers that have helped me each and every day. Know all of you are in my heart and daily prayers. Love Father Walter Werbicki
First Faith Formation Class Today
Children attending area public schools should be registered and attending Faith Formation Classes beginning today, September 22nd at 9:15 a.m. If your child is not yet registered, please arrive a few minutes before class to take care of that. Parents should also note that on each first Sunday of the month, instead of the early Sunday morning class, we have scheduled a special family session beginning at noon. This special family session will include a simple meal. Our intention is that each family unit, including parents, grandparents, older siblings or other important members, will engage with the child in a learning activity that can be later carried on in the home. Religious Formation, with no observance at home is doomed to failure. If faith is lived and discussed in the family setting, then chances are good that the child will practice when she or he gets older.
