SEAS PARISH NEWS
Note from the Pastor
The primary task of the parish is to announce the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that can be received and accepted as good news for one’s life. This task is accomplished in many ways, most notably by parents and grandparents, but also by those entrusted with formal classroom religious education. This Catechetical Sunday, we honor those who dedicate themselves to forming faith in a classroom; among them: the teachers at Northern Chautauqua Catholic School and the volunteers who teach in our parish Faith Formation Program. The example of a faith filled person will impact a youth throughout his or her life, most notably in time of difficulty. Today we salute the Catechists of the parish, among them: Judy Bohn, Marsha Miller, Jeanette Morales, Becky Reed and the parish faith formation coordinator, Natalie Hoebener. Their efforts, enthusiasm and encouragement make a difference in the lives of those you touch.

Rosary for Peace
We invite you to join us this Thursday, September 19th at 5:30 p.m. for a rosary and litany here in the church. The intention will be in honor of Our Lady Help of Christians. Invite your friends and family. Our young people need to be exposed to the powerful prayer of the rosary. All over the world those that follow Christ are being persecuted. Here at home “Christian” is becoming a non-welcome word. More than ever we need to pray for peace in our streets and cities, for those who fight to be faithful and that all will be restored in Christ. This evening prayer service is held each third Thursday at 5:30 p.m
Parishioners Update
We are in the process of updating our data. If you could let us know of any changes in your address, phone number and e-mail we would appreciate it. You may eithers send in with the weekly donations or just mail it in so that we will have it accurately in our system. I have received some request of some parishioners not receiving there stewardship envelopes. I would like to correct this so they can be sent out. Also soon some of you may be going away for the winter so please if you know when you’re going to be away and want your envelopes stopped or sent to you. You may also do the on-line giving. Please let me know. Thank You Linda
