Collection Today: Church in Latin America / Africa
On both continents difficult rural terrain, a shortage of ministers of the gospel and political unrest make the practice of faith challenging. Your support of today’s second collection will bring good news to those who long to hear the Gospel of Christ. Please make a generous contribution in today’s second collection for the Church in Latin American and in Africa. If you cannot donate today, you may leave a clearly marked contribution in next weekend’s collection.
Summer Social Next Sunday
Sunday Summer Socials are back! The schedule for this summer is as following: Sunday May 26th, June 30th, July 28th, and Aug 25th after the 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday morning Masses. They are held outside on the lawn adjacent to the Church parking lot. Come and enjoy some breakfast pastries and a chance to visit with your fellow parishioners. Anyone wanting to serve or bring treats for one of these Sundays should call the parish office and leave your name and number. A member of the committee will contact you. In case of rain, the socials will be held in the Mother’s room.
Plan Ahead for Memorial Day
Memorial Day will be here in only 10 days. Plan on attending an outdoor mass in St. Mary’s Cemetery that morning at 9 a.m. On that occasion we will pray for all buried at the cemetery and especially those who served this nation, even to the point of giving their lives. If the weather does not cooperate, the mass will be held in the church.
Charismatic Healing Mass at Holy Trinity
On Wednesday, May 29th at 7 p.m., Fr Richard DiGiulio will preside at a special mass in Holy Trinity Church stressing the healing gifts of the Holy Spirit. All are welcomed. “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
