Taize Evening Prayer
Come join us on in the church on Lenten Sunday Evenings at 6:30 pm. This half hour prayer will take place beginning this Sunday and every Lenten Sunday evening in the church. The prayer originated at an interdenominational monastery in France and blends song, Scripture and silence. Welcome!
Soup and Scripture Starts Wednesday
We welcome you, beginning Wednesday, March 13th in the meeting room below the rectory. Soup and Scripture will meet weekly in the room below the rectory. The soup and bread supper starts at 6:30 p.m. The Scripture Session will start at 7 p.m. Participants are asked to read a chapter of a guide book in advance of each session.
Stations of the Cross Each Friday
For centuries Christians have joined in an extended reflection on Jesus’ final journey toward His cross, death and resurrection. They are celebrated each Friday of Lent at 4:30 p.m. and take about 20 – 30 minutes.
Celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation
This Lent we encourage you to celebrate the Gift of Reconciliation at one of several special opportunities for confessions. You may choose to stay for confession after the 11 a.m. mass on the Sundays of Lent. In addition, once a month on the day before the First Friday, a confessor is available in the church at 4 p.m. Of course we are always there for confessions on Saturday at 4 pm. or at time that is most convenient for you.
