Christmas Basket Collection
This week you will find an envelope in your packet marked “Christmas Baskets for the Needy.” This special collection is taken each year just before Thanksgiving to respond to the needs of families in our area at Christmas. A large number of Christmas food baskets will be distributed based on the needs of individual families. Your donation will be greatly appreciated.
A Note of Appreciation
On Oct 13th we celebrated the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. We are very appreciative to all who helped out in any way either before the service or in preparing for the luncheon following. Many Thanks!
Care for the Sick
When a request is received, one of the priests or a member of the parish is happy to bring the Eucharist to the home of a sick or homebound person on a regular basis. Simply call the rectory to request this service. Calls for the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick are always answered promptly day or night when we are aware of a need.
Snow Birds and Change of Addresses
Please call, e-mail or drop in collection basket the dates that you are going to be gone and if you prefer to have your envelopes on hold or sent to you at a new address. Don’t forget your parish while travelling in the sunny climes. Please donate each week that you are gone. In each pew you will find a card with instructions about making a donation to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish electronically or you can simply go to our website, www.seasdunkirk.org and click GIVE+.
Men’s Conference Next Saturday
Each fall our parish schedules a morning of reflection for men, followed by a lunch. This event will be held this Saturday beginning with registration/coffee/pastries at 8:30 am. The registration fee is only $5 and includes a talk to be given by Deacon Greg Feary at 9 a.m. and a concluding luncheon at noon. You may pre-register at 366-5299 or at the door on that day.
