SEAS Parish News
Family Faith Gathering
This message is especially for families whose children are attending our parish faith formation program. Next Sunday we will not have the usual Sunday Class beginning at 9:15 a.m. Instead we invite you to come as a family to a special gathering in the school at noon. We will share a simple meal (sausages and pancakes) and then discuss a theme designed to be used at home in the family setting. These special gatherings will take place each first Sunday of the month. They will emphasize the importance of faith lived within the home to help you to fulfill your responsibility to be the “first teacher of your children in the ways of faith.” For the sake of your children and their faith life, please make this a priority.

Rosary Coast To Coast
You are invited to participate in a “Coast to Coast” Rosary on Sunday, October 7th. Locally the rosary event will be held here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church next Sunday at 4 p.m. Various groups have joined ranks in a united front as a part of a 54 day novena from August 15th to the Feast of the Holy Rosary on Oct.7th. It will be anchored by a National Rosary Rally in front of the Capitol in Washington, DC with nationally renowned speakers. Join us as we pray for our nation at this watershed moment in history.
Anointing of the Sick
On Saturday, October 13th at 11 a.m. we will celebrate the Anointing of the Sick at a special mass. The Sacrament of the Sick is for all in need of Christ’s healing presence at time of illness or old age. A simple luncheon will follow the service in the school hall. Since this sacrament is a sign of Christ’s healing presence, the time to receive it is when you are ill or diminished as opposed to waiting until the time of death. If you or your loved one cannot attend the anointing, our priests will gladly visit the home in order to give the anointing. Simply call and request that a priest visit you.
