SEAS Parish News
Faith Formation Classes Begin Today
Today at 9:15 a.m. the first faith formation session of the year will be held beginning with an assembly in the school gym. Classes are held on Second, Third and Fourth Sunday of the month from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Please Note: On each first Sunday of the month, there will not be the normal class. Instead we are calling families together including youth, parents, grandparents etc. following the 11 a.m. Sunday mass. We will share a simple meal and then learn a specific theme to be used later at home in a family setting.
Confirmation of Parish Youth
Some of our young people have been prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation and will join a similar group at St Anthony Church in Fredonia on Saturday, October 27th. Bishop Edward Grosz will confer the sacrament there at 4 p.m.
Bi-Weekly Tuesday School Masses
Students at NCCS attend a school mass here every other Tuesday at 8 a.m. Since this mass is not celebrated every week, check your bulletin for the dates.
Rosary Coast to Coast
Join us on Sunday, October 7 at 4:00 PM here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church where we will recite the Holy Rosary with other Americans across the country wherever they can gather. The Rosary Coast to Coast will take place at 4 pm Eastern, 3 pm Central, 2 pm Mountain and 1pm Pacific time – in essence, we will all be reciting the Holy Rosary together.

Attention Snowbirds
As the summer draws to a close and you start thinking about heading out to your winter destination, please call, e-mail or drop in collection basket the dates that you are going to be gone. If you prefer to have your envelopes on hold or sent to you at a new address, don’t forget your parish while you enjoy the sun. Please donate each week that you are gone. We have a secure on-line donation account. You can go to the parish website www.seasdunkirkny.org to set up a recurring donation, or use the ‘GivePlus Church’ app on your smart phone (via App store or Google play). If necessary, call Frank Valone for assistance (366-5299).
Men: Mark Your Calendars
We are again planning the Men’s Fall conference. This year the date is Saturday, November 10th. Be sure to save that morning. More details to come.
