Faith Moment Reflection
Today’s Gospel describes the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish. Many of us know the story of how Jesus took five barley loaves and two fish, gave thanks and shared them with the vast crowd. No one went away hungry. What does the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves say to us today? Perhaps Jesus teaches us by demonstrating God’s gracious abundance in the miracle of the multiplication. We share in and receive God’s lavish gift of love in our need. As Jesus cared for the crowd, God cares.
