Spring Clean Up Helpers Needed

Calling all helpers! We are having a parish spring yard & garden clean up on May 6 at 1pm and many hands are needed. If you are able to help, please bring a rake & an extra tarp, if you have one, to help clean the front yard of the many pine cones & branches. In case of rain, we will try it again on May 13th at the same time. Any questions, contact Cindy at 716-672-9902.

¡Llamando a todos los ayudantes! El 6 de mayo a la 1:00 p. m. tendremos una limpieza del patio y el jardín de primavera de la parroquia y se necesitan muchas manos. Si puede ayudar, traiga un rastrillo y una lona adicional, si tiene una, para ayudar a limpiar el patio delantero de las muchas piñas y ramas. Volunteers Needed for Summer Bible Camp

The summer Bible Camp planning committee is looking for volunteers for this summer’s camp. We need station leaders and crew leaders (adult and 11+). We would love if you could join us this August. Contact Denise Kropp at d.e.kropp@gmail.com if you are able to help this year. We were not able to hold camp last year due to a lack of volunteers. Camp will be held at NCCS from August 7-11.

Confessions

Confessions will be heard here at St Elizabeth Ann Seton every Saturday after 5:30pm Mass. Also, confessions will be heard at Holy Trinity from 6pm-7pm on Wednesdays.

Contest for Naming our Family of Parishes

Currently, our Family of Parishes, which consists of all parishes in Dunkirk, Fredonia, Forestville and Silver Creek, is referred to as
“Family of Parishes #3” within our diocese.
Pretty boring and unoriginal, right? Help come up with a meaningful and descriptive name for our Family! Guidelines and Regulations:

1. It embraces all parishes within the family.
2. It is something all parishes can relate to in some way.
3. It can be a name that reflects historical significance, geographical features, or acronyms that represent the parishes
   (example: Beloved Disciples of Christ the Lord… for the family of parishes that represent Bowmansville, Depew, Cheektowaga and Lancaster)
4. The only thing the name cannot be is a Saints name so as not to confuse the family name with the parish names.
5. Once we have a name, we will also be looking for a logo to go with it.
   For Reference, here are the names of the Pilot Families:
   Beloved Disciples of Christ the Lord
   Central Niagara Catholic Family
   Eastern Rural Roman Catholic Community
   Catholic Community Buffalo North
   Three Catholic Sisters of the Foothills
   Catholic Family of South Buffalo
