The Church celebrates the Epiphany (Manifestation) of the Savior to the world outside of Judaism. The Hispanic Community names this day “Tres Reyes” or Three Kings. This is the traditional major feast of the Christmas Season in Latino countries.
On Sunday, January 5 after 11:30 Mass, our Hispanic ministry will be holding their three kings celebration. Everyone is invited to this event. please bring a dish to pass. We will also have boxes in the back of the church to collect donations of new unwrapped toys for ages newborn to 12 for the three kings celebration. There will be sign-up sheets available in the back of the church for anyone interested in signing up their children to receive a gift at the celebration. Children must be present on January 5 to receive their gifts. Thank you.
