From the Pastor
Pope Francis has suggested that “giving up indifference and apathy” would be a wonderful Lenten penance. This kind of penance means not only sympathetic concern, but helpful attention; in a word, caring. Perhaps this could take the form of a thoughtful donation to this year’s Catholic Charities Appeal. Last year in our neighborhood, your donation impacted 1,384 individuals and family members including 576 children. Each donation to this important campaign will demonstrate that you are part of a generous community willing to help a neighbor in need. Your gift will protect, strengthen and empower many across Western New York. Please make your donation as soon as possible. Remember that you can always make a pledge with scheduled payments during the year.
