All Saints Holy Day, All Souls Service at SEAS
All Saints Holy Day
On November 1st we honor all God’s holy ones who have “….fought the good fight, kept the faith and won the crown of glory.” A few were recently canonized and others, many centuries ago; Among them are the well known and many “little people” whose heroic faith is known only to God. Holy Day Masses will be on Monday 7 p.m., Tuesday 7 a.m. 8:30 a.m. (School mass) and Noon.
All Souls Remembrance
Each November 2nd we pause to remember and pray for the souls of our departed loved ones. On that day, in addition to the regular morning mass at 7 a.m., there will be a special evening prayer at 7 p.m. when the name of all recently departed will be read aloud and a family member will be presented the cross first used at the funeral sometime during the past year.
