1,000,000 Works of Mercy
Beginning Divine Mercy Sunday (April 3) we will be collecting works of mercy anonymously. Parishioners are asked to write out the works of mercy they have done in the past week on slips of paper, found in the pew, and leave them in a basket on their way out of church.
These works will be presented during the offertory and then hung on the back wall. Works of mercy can be anything from holding the door for someone, to pitching in to buy a homeless man a used car. We should aim to challenge ourselves in this year of Mercy immersing ourselves in the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, a list of which can be found on the back wall of the church.
Please do not use your name when submitting a work of mercy.
