From the Pastor

We look forward to Saturday, June 2 when Deacon Jeffrey Nowak will be ordained a priest along with two classmates. Many will remember Jeff and the 10 weeks he spent among us two summers ago during his supervised seminary field experience. In a couple of weeks we will welcome another diocesan seminarian, Martin Gallagher who will live with us here for the summer. Martin is just beginning theological studies at CKS and looks forward to an opportunity to experience parish life firsthand.

Unlike Jeff and like me, Martin is not a great cook. If anyone could send a dish our way, we would be most grateful. If it is more convenient, we would be most happy to pick it up.

Movie Night is Back!

Got that middle of the week slump? Come on Wednesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. to the Rectory Meeting room and enjoy a good movie with family and friends. The feature film is “The Way”, a powerful and inspirational story about family, friends, faith and the challenges they meet. We follow Tom, an American doctor, while walking the famous Camino de Santiago, (The way of St. James) in the Pyrenees of France. On his way he meets other pilgrims who are all looking for meaning in their lives. All are welcome, ages 13 and up. Free popcorn and snacks. If you need a ride, call Michele and Frank Valone at 366-5299.

The first step is gathering and updating information, phone numbers, email addresses. Those who coordinate parish ministries, please contact the parish office at 366-1750 or Susan Larivey at 366- 6945.
